Retail Marketing Account Manager (English and German speaker)

EMEA Centre of Excellence within Field Marketing Organization responsible for planning, local execution and evaluation of marketing campaigns based on Corporate marketing strategy, is looking for an experienced Retail Marketing Account manager (English and German speaker) who will drive the marketing agenda with the top regional retail accounts.

Job Description:

This role is a vital part of our Retail marketing strategy, designed to enable our key retail partners to advocate Intel-based products in a scalable, measurable, and customer-centric way, drive purchase intent for Intel products and close the sale
Your mission will be to improve Intel Brand Attribution and Preference on retailer digital and instore properties and drive higher return from our investments through strong account-based marketing with our key regional retail customers
Your success will be measured based on business impact and marketing indicators such as Intel preference, RSP recommendation and growth of our footprint on retail domains

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Developing deep understanding of customer pain-points by working closely with Retail Sales Managers
Identifying locally relevant opportunities for co-marketing by working closely with Country Marketing managers and Partner Marketing
Developing account-specific marketing strategies to support Intel Consumer strategic objectives and to drive consistent execution across the pan-EMEA retail group in countries
Developing yearly and quarterly marketing plans in tight alignment with Retail Sales Managers and Country Marketing managers
Leveraging and optimizing our investment portfolio to support account marketing plans
Developing playbooks for optimal Intel attribution
Ensuring Intel always-on presence through the implementation of scalable onsite and in-store experiences leveraging Intel Retail marketing tools and assets
Drive digital growth and innovation by exploring retailer's in-house capabilities and/or 3rd party retail media solutions across managed service, self-service and programmatic ad buying solutions.
Providing customer trainings on Intel programs and tools
Driving innovation pilots and a continuous learning plan
Maximizing value back to customer through Data Analytics and optimization strategies
Holding customer quarterly marketing reviews, reviewing account scorecard, pitching opportunities, sharing insights, learnings, best known methods and developing action plans for continuous improvement


Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Consumer marketing and/or sales background with 3-5+ years' experience
Prior experience in account management required
Fluent in verbal and written English - fluency in German is strongly desired
Prior exposure to working in matrix, regional organizations
Experience in a retail environment is a strong advantage
Digital marketing experience is an added advantage

Customer obsessed
Strong stakeholder management is a must
Flawless communication skills
Sense of urgency and solution orientation
